Jules Faraja Shengo is the visionary leader behind Strong Unity for Refugee Empowerment (SURE). community organizer, educator, and humanitarian based in Kakuma Refugee Camp, he founded SURE to create sustainable opportunities for refugees and host communities. He leads the organization’s strategic direction, partnerships, and program development with passion, integrity, and a deep commitment to community empowerment.

DAVID ATANAS

Programs Coordinator

David Atanas plays a key role in planning, implementing, and monitoring SURE’s education, climate resilience, and youth empowerment projects. He works closely with field teams and partners to ensure high-quality and sustainable impact.

CLEMANTINE ASENDE

Community Engagement Officer

Clentine Asande leads community outreach and ensures that beneficiaries, especially women and youth, actively participate in SURE’s programs. She strengthens relationships with refugee and host communities to ensure that every project reflects real needs and voices.

NYADAK GATDET

Secretary & Administration Officer

Nyadack brings strong organizational and administrative skills to SURE. As a South Sudanese community leader, she ensures smooth day-to-day operations, manages documentation, and supports coordination with partners and beneficiaries. Her commitment to transparency strengthens SURE’s internal systems.

Logistics & Procurement Officer: Handles procurement, supply management, field logistics, transportation, and delivery of project materials.

Finance Officer

Jacques Naumu Msangwa oversees SURE’s financial management, budgeting, and accountability systems. He ensures that all resources are used responsibly and efficiently across all projects. His expertise in financial planning helps maintain strong donor trust and ensures the sustainability of community programs.
